Sam is frustrated, he is mad, he is disappointed, he knows its his rookie year but he is upset about his production. When drafted by the Liberty Sam knew the team was in win now mode and has a great core of wideouts including a strong trio of Carter Bush, Jordan Von Matt, and Felix Hasselhoff Sam knew his playing time would be limited but not as bad as it is right now. 10 games into the season and Sam has only 8 receptions 106 yards and a single touchdown sporting the 3rd worst receiving yards out of all rookie wide receivers. As the 4th string receiver Sam expected more which is why he decided to stay and play in the NSFL and not spend another year down in the DSFL. He knows his skills does not reflect his stats at all and that with more experience in the league he will soon move up in the depth chart but his ego could be clouding him. Sam had 2 goals for his rookie year: lead all rookies in receiving yards and win offensive rookie of the year, with only four games left sam knows he has come up far flat with his goals and it seems to be picking at him during practice and team meetings. With the season winding down we can only hope things get better for our young star to be.
