I am going to choose my own hometown for this challenge, even though some others in this thread have already talked about it. There are a lot of ideas that come to mind for Washington, D.C., including patriotic ideas like the Independence, the Americans, and the Eagles, and there are always boring ideas like the Senators and the Presidents. The aforementioned boring ideas are too boring, but the Eagles, Americans, and Independence are too redundant with the Liberty, especially since the DC team would be in the same conference. There are a lot of other cliche ideas but for this PT I'm going to refer to DC's flag. The flag has three stars on it, which definitely mean something although I can't remember what it is. And DC, the capital of my country, does not have a star on the nation's flag. Because of DC's ties to stars, I propose the Washington, D.C. Stars as one of the expansion teams. Their logo would be some sort of fancy star (like the Cowboys but better) and their helmet would be solid red with two diagonal red stripes going up and down the sides. I know the color scheme is similar to the Yeti, but nobody likes the Yeti. Plus, the Stars' accent color would be a dark maroon, not gold. The pants would also be red, but the darker red, with two white stripes running down it. The away uniforms would be white, and the spicy home uniforms would be red (worn with white pants, of course).
