If I was so tasked to bring in a new expansion team to the NSFL, I would venture out to the Great White North and bring a second team into Canada. Currently, there are 7 teams from the USA, and just 1 from Canada. There is an untapped market in Canada, and one team just isn't enough, sorry Yellowknife.
I would place my team in Toronto. Shocking, I know, but it's the right place for a major league sports franchise. The team would follow the same colour scheme as the rest of the teams in the city and wear blue and white. As for the team name, there are a lot of different options that could work. In the end, I would choose to name the team the Toronto Marauders. It's not a name you see very often so that can set itself apart from other franchises. The logo would be of a gallant horse galloping in the wind, plenty to work with to make a great logo.
We would immediately supplant the Toronto Argonauts as the marquee football team in the city and play our games at the newly renovated BMO Field. It's right on the train route and has a great grounds area for tailgating. Toronto supports their teams as well as any city and I believe they would embrace the NSFL's newest team, the Toronto Marauders.
