It’s time for the NSFL to branch out. We already have 7 US teams. We don’t need 2 more. It’s time for the league to tap into a brand new market and go international. Introducing the newest team to join the NSFL…
The Costa Rica Sloths!
The team will represent Costa Rica, but play out of Miami, FL, the closest US city to the country of Costa Rica. As part of the expansion, the Hard Rock Stadium will be dubbed “The Rain Forest” with profits from ticket sales going to support environmental conservation groups. At home games, fans will also get a chance to meet and take photos with the team mascot, Santiago the Sloth.
Like any expansion, it will take some time for the Sloths to build up to be a competitive contender, but while their rise may be slow, they are destined to be one of the greatest teams in NSFL history. With the support of an entire nation behind them as internet fans across the world, this organization is sure a strong and loyal fanbase. The NSFL would be absolutely foolish to overlook the drawing power of the Sloths!
