Honestly I didn't receive much of a signing bonus from the Philadelphia Liberty, as I basically walked into the management's office without any kind of an agent and basically told them to give me a flat one million dollar contract. Now I know what everyone is thinking and what I've already been asked a million times and that is why I took such a cheap deal considering I'm one of the best prospects to be drafted to the NSFL in a good while. This wasn't a quick decision and something I pondered over quite a bit in actuality, but my agents are working hard behind the scenes on various sponsorships money deals that will help in the cash flow department and at the same time I've looking into a few different investment opportunities that are currently being presented to me. I live pretty modestly and don't need a ton for myself at this point and am looking at the bigger long term picture, rather than losing focus and only being worried about money on the sort term. I think that's where a lot of these dudes go wrong and why you see an abnormally high amount of former NSFL players already broke.
