Although I chose Matt Milano for my player render, I modeled my player after another Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander. Like Alexander, Sandy Bakshi has taken an unusual winding road to the pros and has often had to switch "jobs" on the defense from being a pass rusher, to a run stopper, to a coverage/tackling LB. I made Sandy short, stocky, but strong and athletic with the Speed Rusher type so that he could either rush the passer or chase down the ball carrier as a Mike. I admire Lorenzo's willingness to do whatever he can for the team and his leadership with Buffalo, he is one of a few players in the NFL that has played on both sides of the ball and has always been a special teams ace.
Although I thought my pro career might be closer to Lorenzo's, with each GM choosing to use me in a different way, Sandy has pretty much had one job since I created him. He has been basically a textbook Mike, staying in the second level to act as a speedy tackler and coverage guy. He has only rarely been asked to blitz or pass-rush and instead piles on lots of tackles and a few pass defenses/interceptions. In that sense I'm quite different from Lorenzo on the field, but Sandy is always ready to switch things up if his coach asks him to.
