Franklin Armstrong broke the DSFL single season passing TD record back in S14 with 22 on the year. That broke the previous record of 19 by another former Portland Pythons record. That DSFL record may stand for a long time. Now Armstrong has set on beating the single season TD pass record of 45 set by Gambino of the Hawks a couple seasons ago. This will take Armstrong a lot of dedication. He is having a relatively okay rookie season. Not bad but not particularly good. It will take a lot of training for Armstrong to become the elite QB Gambino was during his career. Armstrong currently has 12 TDs and 9 INTs with a 75 passer rating. Not really up to the caliber of play he had in the DSFL as a two time MVP. Of course the season is not over yet so Armstrong still has a chance to turn it around. Armstrong’s goals to end the season include not throwing any more picks, throwing for 3000 yards, and 20 + TDs. He is also a team player at the end of the day and is rooting for anything that helps the Otters success. The number one goal is bringing home the Otters 6th Ultimus championship. (208 words).
