As all rookies in the DSFL do, they aspire to greatness, they aspire to take it to the next level and make an NSFL roster and hope to one day, hoist up that Ultimus trophy and bring the glory home with them. Greatness is not something that is just achieved overnight. It is a long, grueling road, that is paved with blood, sweat, and tears. It is a home that is built on the broken spirits and bodies of those, you had to crush, that were standing in your way.
In football, all players have the certain physical gifts that put them above the rest. It is what they do with these gifts, that will make or break their path to super stardom. Oswald Grimnir makes his money with his speed first. "Speed Kills" is written above his locker and on his cleats. Oswald knows that the faster he is to the ball, the faster he makes plays. You can't be a true center field safety, if you can't play the field. Oswald lives for breaking up passes and turning the ball over. On occasion, he is known to blow passed the line and make a sack, just to let the opponents know, he can and will be anywhere he is needed.
With his obsession with speed and getting to the ball, Oswald aspires to set a DSFL record for most combined Pass Deflections and Interceptions in a single game. He knows that he is not the best safety in the DSFL and that he is not yet ready to be called up to The NSFL but he sure as hell knows that with each week, he gets faster and faster, as he uses his contract and additional earning to train hard to get faster and get to the ball. As far as rookie safeties go, he may just as well be closer to his goal than most think.
