Me personally, I feel it's a huge difference. More of a feel good/bragging rights thing than tangible, but I can see where where you're coming from though when you say it like that.
The point I was making was that some positions don't have the luxury to be in the running of more than two awards that are pure football based. For example, a RB could theoretically be in the running of up to 8 of the awards listed in the OP and an Offensive Linemen can more than likely get somewhere less than three (not including the best positional awards), if their lucky. And the only one that is individual based is the improved player of the year and I'm being generous in saying that. Lol Just been thinking it could be a way to spread the wealth for the less than glamorous positions.
