7) Next year
Written: If your team has been eliminated, why will the next year, or the year after that, be the year that your team is going to win the Ultimus or Ultimini.
My team is the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers and we only won two games this year overall, and we were not able to make the playoffs in the DSFL. In the next few years opportunity will open up for the Bucs as we look for a playoff run. For one reason the possible players coming back next year would be better and more skilled next year. My player included, the running back QT, will probably be coming back next year and through the course of that year will be able to hit the cap for DSFL and therefore might be in contention for RBoty and possibly even MVP for the DSFL. Another player coming back could be Sweet James Jones, one of the best receivers of the year in the DSFL and can only get better next year as they add tpe to their build. I can’t speak to the defense, but I know that we added players last year that will get better next year and possibly make our defense one of the better defenses in the league. I also don’t know entirely about the other teams in the league, but they are probably going to lose more players than the Bucs, so they will be losing talent while the Bucs will be growing the talent from inside the organization. 3) All about the QBs
Written: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What are you most excited to see (Or excited to have seen), who will play better (Or who played better), etc.
For my QB comparison I decided to go with the championship game for the DSFL with the QBs from the Marshals and the Pythons. Zack Vega is the QB for the Marshals and Jay Cue for the Pythons. Jay Cue completed 61%, rounded up, of his passes with 17/28, and Zack Vega completed 13/27 for a mere 48% of his passes. This puts Cue in the lead for QBs in this matchup and the other stats for the game pretty much all do the same. With those completions comes the yards and Cue won in the yard category with 221 yards passing to Vega’s 122 yards. Cue threw for two touchdowns and no picks while Vega threw one touchdown and two picks, another with for Cue. The ratings of 109.4 for Cue beats 42.5 for Vega too. The average yards for each pass also favored Cue with an average of 13 yards for him and 9.4 for Vega. Even in the rushing numbers for the QBs it favored Cue over Vega with Cue having 21 yards and Vega getting 16 yards total rushing. With Cue winning most, if not all, of the QB battles in the game it is not surprising that the Pythons won 23-10 over the Marshals. 14) That Magic Moment
Writen: Pick one moment from a playoff game and describe what made it so amazing to watch.
Easily the most magic moment from the DSFL playoff was when the Marshals defeated the highly favored Luchadors. The moment in the game that was the magic moment was when Ruff Ruff ran in a 1-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. The run itself wasn’t magic the magic part was that this put the Marshals up 17-10 and put them up for good in the game. The Marshals have some of the best backs in the DSFL and they showed off with both of them going for over 100 yards and each getting a touchdown for the game. One of the shocking moments that led to this lead changer was the unsportsmanlike conduct from Lopez on the Luchadors that put the Marshals into Luchadors territory and set them up to win the game. It was so amazing to watch because the Luchadors were heavily favored in only losing one game on the season before this game, the Marshals came into the game with a below .500 record and hoping they could just hang in during this game. The last drive was amazing to watch too with the Luchadors having to go for it on a fourth down and ending up not converting on that fourth down, sealing the win for the Marshals. (212 words)
