Looking at the Baltimore Hawks Offense from S18, I could not wait for the season to start. I was stepping into a WR3 role on one of the most high powered offense with an elite QB, the sky was the limit. 1000 yard season? Rookie of the year? Nothing seemed out of reach on an offensive powerhouse. Once the first week of the season started things took a turn, Game 1. Pregame felt great but when the game started it hit me. This is why it’s the big leagues. The speed of the game, strength and talent of the other players caught me off guard. I finished the game with 1 reception for 14 yards and a costly penalty. The rest of the week didn’t fare too much better. Obviously with the high expectations I had put on myself it was a huge disappointment to not contribute more in my first few games on the team. But as my teammates have let me know I have to just put my head down, work hard and continue to grind it out at practice and the stats will come. Besides, who really cares what the stats look like as long as these Baltimore Hawks keep winning.
