8) Brotherly Love -
I’m going to be honest, I see the player/team thing but I don’t think I can narrow it down to something like that. I will probably always have a soft spot for the people that were around to welcome me to the league. Whether it’s Frost who’s always had my back since day 1 despite me constantly (friendly, of course) bullying him, Cort who I’ve been fortunate to meet but has been an AMAZING friend and dad, Jay_Doctor who was one of the first people to DM me when I joined the league and gave me some important game advice, Scorp for being my bestest friend and being an awesome super friendly dude in general, Vex for always being there for me when I was drunk as fuck at 3 in the morning, ephenssta for being such a wholesome soul, Bagel for being one of the nicest people ever and a ear for me when I needed one or Bex for being...well, Bex.
This community’s full of amazing people and I’m thankful for being invited here and being given the chance to play/participate in these activities. The people have been extremely kind and have helped me through every step, whether it was me asking how to update my player or me asking Scorp if we’re friends and to be honest, it’s meant a lot to me.

9) Revenge -
If I ever got the chance to take a game and replay it, it would definitely be the game against Tijuana. I feel like the game could have definitely gone either way but we just so happened to be the team that got the short end of the stick. It was a sloppy game from both offenses and a long drive from Tijuana near the end of the game was the moment that ended up sealing our fates. I’m a super competitive person and as a result of that I had really wanted to beat Bagel in our first time facing off against each other. He’s a good friend and a win here would’ve been great to use all offseason as a way to bully him (in a friendly way of course). Another reason why it would’ve been huge to win this game was because my player had played out of his mind this game. He led his team in tackles with 11, pass deflections with 2 and ended up getting a pick 6 to tie the game up in the 3rd quarter. This game would have meant a lot for him entering the draft in terms of momentum and maybe could’ve led to a Myrtle Ultimini potentially as we believed that we were strong enough to beat Minnesota.
At the end of the day it’s a whole lot of what-ifs and all that, but it was a game that I believe I’ll always look back and wonder how things could’ve gone had Myrtle Beach won.

13) Interview With a Vet -
For this part I had an interview with Duilio05
Duilio05: Why did you choose the position you did and why you will be able to stand out from your class mates at that position?
LaVert: Ever since I set my eyes on Derwin James for the first time it was clear that he was going to be a player to watch for a long time. His effort, physicality and versatility on the field inspired me and as a result I decided to play Safety myself and the rest is history.
I believe I'm able to stand out from the rest of my classmates due to the fact that I have playoff experience under my belt and have shown hard work and dedication whether it be through activity or grinding TPE/GFXs.
Duilio05: What makes you nervous the up coming DSFL draft?
LaVert: Nothing really, I guess a fear I initially had was being drafted into an inactive locker room but even then, I want to be that difference maker and change the attitude in there.
Duilio05: What team has the best logo?
LaVert: This is a tough question, a lot of the teams have great logos but the ones that stand out to me (personally) would probably be the Wraiths, Outlaws, Second Line, Luchadores and Pythons. While we're at it, shoutout the Solar Pears, amazing name and logo (Even if it was copied)
Duilio05: What NSFL Star are you modeling yourself after?
LaVert: Nobody, I want to make a name for myself. If others want they can follow in my footsteps but I want to do my thing and not follow someone else's footsteps.
