1) Playoff Reviews:
We actually had a pretty thrilling Ultimus this season, with an evenly matched game between 2 teams that went 9-4 during the regular season. Yellowknife certainly had the advantage through the air, with a pretty amazing 372 yards thrown by Mr. Bigsby. They also managed to pick off Armstrong, with Logan Uchiha coming away with the team's only takeaway of the day. However, they really struggled to get anything going on the ground despite touchdowns from both of their primary backs. Averages of 3.8 and 2.4 for Hanyadi and Drake is not going to get it done against the mighty rushing attack of the Otters. Speaking of, Apollo Reed had a solid if unspectacular day picking up 65 yards on 14 attempts, while scrambler extraordinaire Franklin Armstrong averaged 8.7 yards on 9 attempts and had a touchdown on the ground to go with his 2 to Hugh Mongo through the air. The other main area where Yellowknife struggled that ultimately led to the Otters' victory was in holding on to the football - Grievous and Lazer-Eyes both forced fumbles that were recovered by Orange County. Between turnovers and penalties, the Wraiths just barely made more boneheaded mistakes that cost them in a game that was very close all the way through.
