Cooper Christmas Baltimore Hawks, Josh Garden Yellowknife Wraiths, Kurt Hendrix Colorado Yeti, All the go to guys of the NFSC. These are the primary targets for each team and lets say that it has been a rather interesting season for all three of these players, each had high expectations set for them, lets take a look at who handled the pressure and who simply fell apart. On paper that stats speak for themselves Josh Garden put up some outstanding numbers on the field this year and it showed, with 70 catches for a whooping 1178 total yards and 7 touchdowns! It was a amazing year for him, especially playing against teams whom many would say have distant or non exsisting secondaries, then theres Cooper Christmas, Christmas was highly anticipated to be a top notch wide out this season and plagued by constant drops and constant coverage he only managed to bring in a total of 47 receptions for 705 total yards while playing all 14 games of the season, or a grand finally of 2 touchdowns. Many Hawks fans were excited to see Christmas hit the field but that would soon turn to a one sided love affair. Then theres Hendrix, while not a much higher performance throughout the season he has managed to keep his head held high and be there to move the ball down the field for the Yeti, 69 receptions for a total of 868 yards to tally out 4 touchdowns on the season, he has hopes to continue to improve and has the potential to be a great go to target, but with stats like these it has to make his QB question if hes really the target to throw to. Between these 3 players its obvious who the leader was this season and should be interesting to see if Garden is a one hit wonder or if hes going to go far with back to back massive seasons.

Bottom Third: Write about why the Baltimore Hawks and/or San Jose Sabercats were not able to make the playoffs. Can be completed at any point
The Baltimore Hawks the sad prodigy that never was. Highly regarded as one of the potential power teams coming off a strong 4-0 preseason the Hawks players and fanbase was at an all time high, however many problems would plague this team till the bitter end with a 4-10 final record tied as worst in the league with the Sabercats. While we can only truely speculate, the team started miserably with an 0-3 start to the season, while the Hawks kept it close in the end they couldnt seal the deal, inconsistency would be the ultimate downfall of this team, with mid season changes looming player happiness reached an all time low and it showed as the Co-GM of the team resigned, bringing in new leadership in the middle of a season would be a risky move no matter the record your team holds and it went to show that for the Hawks it didnt work out, with a struggling defense, the Hawks only managed 36 sacks the entire season, this gave opposing QBs free range to attack the secondary with force, the bright side of the Hawks defense was its secondary ranking 3rd in Interceptions they were ballhawkers and attempted to shut down the opposing QB, had the Hawks actually had an effective Defensive Line they could have contended to the playoffs but without the solid rushing attack they were picked apart in the end. Lets talk offense here 253 completed passes out of 434 attempted, with 2581 total passing yards the Hawks once again couldnt complete a pass to save their lives, due to high inconsistency on the offensive side of the ball the defense was forced to try and carry the team, the hawks gave up to many 3rd down conversions which once again would enable the opposing team to keep striking at the defense. By a let down on both sides of the ball its fair to say the Hawks all around caused their own failures in not being able to effectively manage the game which would be their undoing and knock them out of playoff contention.
