The Yellowkife Wraiths are currently in a window of contention. They have won the NSFC championship the last several years but have came up short in the Ultimus several times in heartbreaking fashion. This is going to be the year where they finally finish the job. An already strong offense signed a very talented wide receiver by the name of Bender B. Rodriguez away from the New Orleans Second Line. This gives the Wraiths a great triple threat at WR to go along with their star QB Bigsby and reining RB of the Year Hanyadi. That signing also weakened one of their main Ultimus rivals. In the draft they picked two immediate starters in LB Quaid and K/P Smalls. Quaid is going to add a lot of athleticism and versatility to a defense that is getting on the older side. Smalls is a kicker with great potential and will replace the Wraiths former slacker of a kicker. The defensive line got bolstered as well thanks to the Kroustis position switch. The Wraiths have a few more swings of the bat to finally knock it out of the park and capture the franchise’s second Ultimus, the last of which being in season 8. The planets have aligned this season, the only thing left to do is get out on the field and earn it. (223 words)
