This is a weird one to write for the Dallas Birddogs since the team was just formed this season so literally everyone is a fresh face. I do think that Dallas did really well in the dsfl entry draft by selecting 4 of the top 6 TPE earners in the draft class. There are still worries that they weren't able to pick up any offensive linemen and that they might struggle to protect their QB from sacks because of the lack of linemen and the fact that both their primary tight ends are vertical threats, more focused on catching the ball than protecting the ball carrier. That being said I think the team is built to have a very strong offense when they can get the ball out of the QBs hands and into that of the running back, wide receivers, or tight ends hands. I suspect most teams won't expect much of the Birddogs here in S21, but I think they can surprise people with offensive talent and they should be fairly capable defensively as well. It's not clear if Dallas has what it takes to make the playoffs this season, but Gucci and Inverted should be proud of what they've built here in Dallas so far.
