With the new season getting started, and the first game starting today, I believe we have what it takes to have another successful year in the DSFL. We are stronger and faster and are looking forward to teaching the rookies a thing or two. Myrtle Beach had a very strong Defense last season and we look to improve on that. We needed to fill some holes that we are missing and I think we did that perfectly. It will be good to see how the new guys come in and adapt to the new system. Going from colloege to the DSFL are two different tiers of difficulty. It was tough for me for sure to get used to the style of play in the DSFL, but in the end we found success as one combined unit. All it taks is a little bit of time to find the chemistry we need to have success. Being my 2nd year in the DSFL, I find it very fitting that I take some sort of leadership role on the line. Making the calls on the line is what I feel most comfortable with and thats exactly what I will be doing this season. The new rookies will do just fine as long as they listen to their GM's and to eachother.
