After an emotionally tough end of season for the Buccaneers, losing in the finals of the Ultimini 28 to 3 against the Grey Ducks, Myrtle Beach wanted to bring good prospects to perfect their roster and try their luck to the Ultimini again. So, they've brought in 36 rookies to replace all the call ups, which there were many of. The Buccaneers started by replacing their star Safety Prince Vegeta/Jeffrey LaVert by drafting with their first round pick Johnny Hellzapoppin. Myrtle Beach also added some big offensive linemen to complete their offensive line, bringing in Bruce Buckley from the land down under and Jorcher Minor, joining two other active OLs. Myrtle Beach also acquired the steal of the draft in Kal Solarin. He originally came in as a linebacker, but recently switched to kicker. Myrtle Beach having recently lost their kicker John Smirh, picking Solarin at 93rd overall is really gonna help our team out, and Kal could very well be the next kicker of the year. The last pick I wanted to mention real quick is Tom Sofa, who currently can't really have an effect on the team because of his disease, but his presence is really felt in the locker room. I also want to quickly give a shoutout to all the other rookies we drafted, they also are contributing to our success.
