The Baltimore Hawks may not have added a ton of pieces to the team during the offseason, they did add high quality pieces in spot that were very much needed. With only two S21 players making it onto the roster you know that the team was already solid and was just missing these pieces to push them over the edge. One of these pieces happens to be my player Chris Kross. The Hawks lost one of their wide receivers during the offseason so coming into this season it was looking to be a one man show with only Errol Maddox. That’s why in the draft the hawks picked me up. I look to be a great second option behind Maddox so that way all the defensive backs can not just be looking to one side of the ball. Although I haven’t gotten much targets yet I have gotten some key ones. With only 3 receptions in 3 games I am already sitting at 2 touchdowns. That low target but high impact play is what you need from your wide receiver 2 with such a big star like Maddox.
On the other side of the ball we have our other rookie in Sardine Beaner. Although his numbers aren’t huge like some other defensive tackles it’s the stats you don’t see that make him such a great addition. Just like Kross he is there to keep the defense honest and make sure they cannot just ignore one part of the pass rush or he’s is gonna make them pay. He has shown this by getting a sack while the defense was too focused on the other parts of our line.
With these new additions we plan on making it so teams can never rest. If they do it will end up biting them in the butt.
