The San Jose Sabercats were relatively quiet in free agency without making any key acquisitions from outside the team but they retained significant depth pieces to continue to build upon the team. The draft was the main source of new talent with the plethora of high draft picks that the team had acquired, which resulted in players such as Otis Allen, HeHateMe Picksix, Leon McDavid, and others who all looks to make significant impacts in their first season in the league. Although the Sabercats may not be a powerful force in season 21, this sets them up for the future and to possibly contend next season as their season 17 crop of players and this next crop continue to hit their peak in the league. One of the key "additions" for this team hands downs is the resurgence of Dan Wright in becoming active once again and finally maxing out his potential and providing the Sabercats with a great option at QB til Monterey Jack trains and joins the roster. Of the draft picks selected HeHateMe PickSix was desperately needed as the Sabercats traded Desmond Scarlett to the Outlaws, which created a desperate hole for a lockdown corner that every team needs if they wanted to be successful. With all of these additions i predict that the San Jose Sabercats will be an 8-9 win team and make the playoffs for the first time in 3 years.
