The Birddogs are ready to take on the DSFL. After coming away with one of the strongest drafts by all metrics the Birddogs are performing well with high earners across the board. Quarterback Monty Jack has shown himself to be the stronger of the two cheese-themed quarterbacks, ranking third in the league in yards through two games. The backfield is a three headed running back combination of Feels, Jones, and Goodman - all who are pacing the league with good yards per carry on their split attempts. Wide Receiver is headlined by William Lim - second in the league in yards through two games - who only gets better each week. Jeffrey Phillips is a matchup nightmare for opposing linebackers and secondaries averaging a strong 13.3 yards per catch and stretching the field down the seam. The defense is represented strongly by Haha Mango-Panda and Benson Bayley Jr. at linebacker who are seventh and eighth in the league in tackles respectively. They join fellow linebacker Stanisław Koniecpolski and defensive tackle Deshun Jones in creating an intimidating front seven. The secondary is held together with the tandem of Colt Mendoza and Xaq Schiaparelli at cornerback. They're backed up by Eric Barlow and Hamish MacAndrew at safety, protecting the team over the top. This strong unit has helped lead the Birddogs to 118 tackles in their first two games - good for second in the league - and only gets better with each passing week. Birddogs management knew getting a group of strong, active players who were motivated to improve would lead to sustained success and improvement throughout the season.
