The Royals, as of now, do not look to hot for a Ultimini contention. With a record of 2 and 6 before the last two games it looked like there is a possibility for the royals to take the last place in their division. This honestly would not have been too suprising for most people since this is their first year in this league. As a locker room member though I can not emphasize enough that their current 4 and 6 record might not be a valid representation of their true strength. But what are the Problems that have to be solved for them to make a Ultimini-run? First off, the Royals had some real problems in their special teams unit. Since nobody seems to know how special teams really work in the Sim this might just be a sign of bad luck. The Royals also experienced some tough referee calls in crucial situations. All in all there are a few signs that the Sim was not too kind to our new players in London. What the data does show is, that every week the Royals show the hightest TPE gains in the league. This might be already showing because the Royals won their last two games. With Key Changes in their rosters, like adding players in the DT and WR spots, the Royals started to look way better than they did before. Ryeu was moved from the defensive end spot to a linebacker position and together with Dered De Ville this linebacker core is just scary. Ryeu picked up a season high of 18 tackles across the whole league in his linebacker debut. In the second game he forced two fumbles. If this trend continues, maybe the Royals will shock some of the DSFL members and do manage to make a run for the trophy.
