The Norfolk Seawolves came into week 15 and 16 at 0.500 just hoping to make the Ultimini. We laid a smackdown on the Buccaneers in Week 15 which put us in a position to possibly snatch the first seed. However, even though we secured a win in Week 16 against the Birddogs, the Bucs still beat the Luchadors. We feel confident that we belong here in the playoffs and have a great shot at the Ultimini. On top of having the best point differential in the league, we have a super tight knit group in the clubhouse.
I’d say one of our biggest strengths is our run game. The 1-2 punch of Panda and Sunrise is deadly because no team would want to see a 250 pound Panda or an extremely hot and drunk Tequila Sunrise coming at them. Another strength is our clubhouse’s ability to hold long counting sessions in one of our channels which really shows off our synergy as a team.
I will tip my hat to Bucs who we face in the first round. They are a solid team and it’s going to be a tough game. However, I think our grit and overall synergy will be enough to advance and win this thing.
