As a young high school student in Shuchi'in Academy, Chika was set on running the gaming club and hopefully one day joining her parents in the government as a Japanese diplomat. It was a small dream of Chika’s to possibly try something else in music or sports but not much could be done when her parents told her that she would have to join them with her higher education. Toward the end of the high school years, she learned that her friends would be heading off to America to go to college which gave her the idea to leave behind her past as well to go make a new name for herself at any school offering for her to go. Chika left for the States against her father’s wishes to go on a volleyball scholarship to Georgia Tech for an education that even her parents could be proud of even if she sort of ran away from home. It did not take long for Chika to find a new sport though that gathered the people of the Atlanta hot spot where she learned all about American Football which was similar to the Japanese football she saw back home and played here or there but the crowds and cheering excited so much that she had to try out for the Yellow Jackets where she went on to become a successful quarterback.
