Zamir has a multitude of chips on his shoulder. The biggest one is probably his draft position. Anyone who hasn't been living under a rock knows all about the fiasco that was S22 draft night. Zamir projected himself as a top CB, but he knew teams would probably view him as 2nd or third round talent. No way in hell did he think he would fall past the 4th round. He must have underestimated how scared the GMs are of his personality. Which, by the way, has literally affected no one negatively. After falling in the draft, a lot of people speculated that Zamir might quit the league, or he's going to come back and work harder than ever to prove people wrong. Zamir went with the latter. He was still a max earner. He had the best stats out of every CB in his rookie season in the DSFL, and he translated those skills to the NSFL also, being the only CB in his draft class to make the pro bowl that year. He had 4 ints and 14 PDs, not bad for a rookie. This year he made a big jump, with 4 ints and 19 PDs, and still 5 games left to be played. He is the best CB as of now, yet he was the 10th CB drafted in S22. Funny how that works.
