Blackstone isn't that old or very experienced in the league although into his third season some would start to call him a veteran. Because of this, he hasn't had to deal with many career altering decisions, thankfully. The most difficult part for Blackstone actually has been dealing with the fame. Blackstone was a solid prospect and did well at almost level that he has played at, but since hitting the pros Immanuel Blackstone has seen a whole new level of success. First, he won defensive rookie of the year in S20, the season he played in the DSFL. Then he won defensive rookie of the year and even earned a pro bowl nod in his NSFL rookie season, S21. As if that weren't enough, he raised the stakes even higher and won the inaugural Defensive End of the Year award and another pro bowl designation in the following season. As if he couldn't go any higher, the same season, he helped the Colorado Yeti win their first ever championship. Because of all this, he has accomplished quite a bit in a short period of time. He is now noticed wherever he goes and has started to really catch a following of fans on twitter. To that end, he also has a following of h8ters as well. Blackstone has had to work hard to keep all of this attention from getting to him, especially when the Yeti reached out to his to extend his contract (which he did for another two seasons).
