A story I believe is pretty unheard of, is a story of one of the worst 3+ rushing TDs playoff games in ISFL history. Now, that may of course sound pretty contradicting, but trust me this performance is still nevertheless terrible. The story all begins in S16, Week 9, the Philadelphia Liberty were on precipice on what would prove to be the most important game of the season. It just happened to be the Liberty at the Hawks for a spot in the newly-expanded 6-team playoffs, the Hawks also just happened to be the team that kicked Philadelphia out the playoffs in the previous season before routing the Sabertooths 49-0 in the following Ultimus matchup. Though in S16 it proved to be the Liberty who would go 2-0 in the series against the Hawks, after they squeezed by with a 16-12 game. The game that would prove to be the final tiebreaker as the Hawks and Liberty would end the season tied with 7-6 records each. Which brings us to the first Philadelphia playoff game in the new 6-team playoffs. A game against the 10-3 Wraiths, a game that would also end up being one of my favorite games in the history of the league. It was the ultimate back-and-forth, after every Wraiths score, the Liberty would immediately follow it up with the matching score. All up until the 3rd quarter, where the Wraiths would take a 31-21 lead. Though it would prove not enough as in remaining 25 minutes, Philadelphia would end up winning 35-34. Which all brings us to the reason I started writing this in the first place. After all the close victories, the playoff tiebreakers, and even dumb sim logic, we have probably the worst 3+ rushing TDs playoff game in ISFL history. It was the Liberty up against the 10-3 Chicago Butchers, and it was also no other than Liberty Running Back Farley Hank who would be the culprit as the owner of the worst 3+ rushing TDs playoff game in ISFL history. Let's start by going over each one of his NINE attempts. His first attempt would actually end up being his longest of the day, a 5 yard rush, following this was a rush of exactly 0 yards. Three drives later. His next carry would end up being a relatively above average 3 yard gain. Though the following carry would end up vultureing one of Lennox Garnett's insane THREE picks with a 4 yard touchdown score. Hank would follow this with another 4 yard gain before again vultureing another Lennox Garnett pick, with this time only gaining a single 1 yard along with the Touchdown. Though his next two rushes would be two dismal of 0 and 2 gains. Before completing his 3 rushing TD game, with a 3 yard Touchdown, despite him only gaining 5 yards on the total of 65 yard drive. Leaving him with the absimal statline of 22 yards on 9 attempts with an average of just 2.4 yards per carry.
