I usually don't talk about my personal life, but I've been reminiscing about the past recently, so I might as well talk about a couple of my "glory" years. Halfway through my sophomore year, due to the military, my family moved from a military base in England to a very small town in Florida. Not much happened during the rest of my sophomore year, except for one person in one of my classes kept pestering me to join band (or rejoin in this case). After giving it some time, I thought I might as well try, since I had enjoyed doing it in middle school, but had to quit once I got to high school due to scheduling issues. Having to relearn how to play tenor saxophone/read music as well as having to learn how to march proved a bit difficult at first, but soon enough I got the hang of it and everything would go up from there. My school's marching/performance bands would go on to get superiors (the best possible rating) at every competition my junior and senior year, as well as march at both Disney World and Universal Studios, some of my favorite memories of school. As for personal achievements, I'd get superiors in solo performance my junior and senior year, as well as be a part of the Troy honor band my senior year.
