During the most recent DSFL rule summit, there was a proposed, but rejected, rule that said: "No representative of a team may provide specific information to a user that would help the prospect create an ideal build, help the user time their player creation, or otherwise attempt to nefariously influence the process of creating a player and joining a DSFL team for their own benefit or to the detriment of another team." At a first glance, this rule would prevent GMs from giving advice to new creates as to what to do and when to do it. There is a vague part there. And it is something that can be understood with some simple logic. GMs are representatives, and HO knows them. What about war room members and players? Aren't those team representatives as well? And what if it is my brother, sister, or best friend and I give him the advice right in his face? How will HO know about all this? And what about DSFL General Managers that double as Rookie Mentors? There are so many questions that arise here, and it makes absolute sense why it did not go through. However, there is one thing that would be a massive change, and it would open up job opportunities. There are quite a few DSFL GMs that have doubled as Rookie Mentors. This rule means the two jobs split, and there are extra people that get a league job, and some more of that fake money to buy the drugs they need to improve their player, cuz that is exactly what TPE is. Sometimes, I wonder about DSFL players that unbank so much TPE once called up. How has nobody died yet from TPE overdose?
