illion didn't start playing football until he was in high school. He had always loved the game but lacked the size. He grew 4 inches from his sophomore year to his Jr year and gained 40 pounds. He was finally big enough to play the game he had loved.
He was great on the field but colleges didnt want to invest a scholarship to someone who had only played football for a few years.
Gillion knew his worth as a player and understood that he would when to earn his way onto the field wherever he went. He decided his best oppurtinity was to go to the university of Wisconsin as a walk on. It was the closest big school to his home in Green Bay. Wisconsin has always been a defensive orientated team and he knew eventually he would get a shot on the field.
His first season he was on the bench and made enough of an impact on the practice field to make it to special teams. His speciality was being a gunner on the punt team. His overall quickness and vision on the field made him a very good gunner.
A few injuries then allowed him to get on the field as a defensive back. He made the most of his oppurtinity and started at Cornerback his last two years of college. He has always been undervalued in his mind because of lack of experience and knows what needs to be done. He proved in college that he has what it takes and now he is doing it for the Tijuana Luchadores and soon for the Arizona Outlaws.
