Jackie took somewhat of a different route to football than most people. Growth up as a merchant's son in the north English town of Whitby, know for it fishing and it reputedly haunted monastery football was far from his mind. Even when he came to America (definitely not because he was suspected of being Jack the Ripper) sport was not the reason. However one fateful night Jackie watched his 1st super bowl at a neighbours on his home on Statten Island and despite previously thinking it was a display of surperb owls he fell in love with the beautiful game of football. This new found love of football and a sudden strong desire to play led him to move to Pennsylvania to pursue that goal it of course was not to avoid a debt related dual with Jim the Vampire. Once in Pennsylvania Jackie supported himself initially working in a local bar that he seemed to own though no one was sure why (he definitely didn't murder the owner) He was then able to join Penn State to nominally study business but mainly to follow his dream of playing football. Jackie tried out at a walk on and was noticed straight away with his amazing and almost unnatural strength and speed. He went straight to the main team after a series of mysterious disappearances and the rest is history.
