NationalSimulation FootballLeague decided to go to college at San Diego State University, because that was where he is from. When he was going up in San Diego, he was enamored with the history of the program and the idea that a college in his home town could be actually decent. The problem was that, he was never really going to go anywhere else. This led to a lack of recruiting early in his high school days. This was until he visited another Mountain West school and a few Pac-12 schools. All of a sudden San Diego State was super interested in him. He got a free tour of campus, stayed in the football housing, and got to attend a couple practices and games. In the end he was committed to going to San Diego State and received a full scholarship. He was able to play in the Nickel starting his freshman year, as well as return kicks, but not full time. He slowly gained a starting role in his freshman year and from there he would not surrender it. He had a fairly successful career at San Diego State, where he went on to be one of the best Safeties in the nation. He only stayed in school for 3 years, but did end up getting drafted to TJ, so he continued his studies, as he was still within 30 minutes of school. Full disclosure he lived in San Diego still, during his time in TJ.
