Acura Skyline, a five star recruit to the University of California, Los Angeles, knew from the day he walked on campus that the school would be for him. Only applying to schools in Southern California that were a forty five minute or less drive from the sweet dunes of Malibu beaches, Skyline prioritized women, weed, and weather in his search for a NCAA program to make his name at. Ultimately, though Skyline was patient, he knew that he wanted to show up and make a difference in the program from day one. His dad was a long time University of Southern California fan, so while Skyline briefly entertained donning the crimson and gold, he thought it would be a lot more fun to go to USC’s rival and force his dad to root for a team he had previously called “a no good collection of dopers and Hollywood wannabes.” At UCLA, Skyline’s talent was quickly noticed and appreciated by the coaching staff, and he quickly found his role on the field as the starting running back. Skyline likes to tell people that he was first considered for the role of mascot, because his six foot one frame and long dark beard made him look similar to the school mascot (a bear).
