Holidays man. My favorite time of the year. I really do not get people who will just sit on their bottoms and do nothing. It really bewilders me. I mean, growing up, it was bad. We had to rely on the church for a meal very frequently. So I cannot NOT give back what I got growing up. And having all that money from football means I can now help those in the position I was before getting that college scholarship. Even in college, I would do whatever I could to help those people. Volunteering in the local food bank, making and handing the food baskets, filled with Christmassy treats, like turkey, and all those tasty treats to people that cannot afford them, and seeing the smile on their faces, and the gratitude in their eyes is what makes it for me. I was there. I know how they feel. If I can change that, even for a moment, a day, a week. That is more than enough for me. And that is the holiday spirit. The spirit of bringing joy. Whether to yourself, or someone else. I guess that is exactly where you will see me this year. The Berlin Food Bank. Making baskets, and handing them over to those that cannot afford to buy what is inside. Let's go back to our roots. When we cared about each other. But I guess you have to go through it to realize how bad it really is. Happy holidays everyone!
