All DSFL GM’s should view each other as coworkers.
Agreed!
There should be a concerted effort to heavily discourage DSFL lifers.
I agree as long we're talking about users who hit 250 as fast as possible and stop earning, with the express intention of avoiding a callup. Users whose earning pace only allows them to earn a small amount of TPE per season but still enjoy themselves are likely never going to see an ISFL snap. But if they are active, engaged and happy with that arrangement, they shouldn't feel like they're pressured to not recreate when their DSFL eligibility runs out.
Everything trickles down/Winning doesn’t matter.
Agreed!
Please don’t make people position swap unless it’s unavoidable or they are 100% open to it.
Hard agree on this. A brand new rookie may very well say yes without having much idea around the ramifications of that decision, other than that it will immediately help their new DSFL team. GMs should talk them through the pros and cons of playing at each position, what their relative competition might look like in the big leagues, how it'll affect their sim viewing experience and box scores, how it'll affect their draft stock etc etc before letting them take the plunge.
DSFL GM’s may have the most important jobs in the league.
Couldn't agree more. If your draft class stays 100% active and engaged (max earning and immediate callups shouldn't necessarily be a factor) then you probably deserve GMotY, regardless of how the team did in the sim.
This was a great read, thank you for sharing!
