The new call-ups eagerly reported to training camp following their DSFL seasons along with the rest of the team. However, there was one notable absence. Asher Montain was no where to be found. This was unusual given his usually punctual attitude when it comes to team activities. Being a team veteran and leader in the locker room, he usually took these small but influential tasks very seriously. So, he must have a good reason. Simply, he reported late to camp because he had lost track of time partying with @SlurmsMckenzie, the Austin Copperhead's infamous party worm. Fortunately, given that he wasn't out of shape or druk (anymore), he was able to pick things up with the team and catch up appropriately. Therefore, after taking the punishment laps and suicides, training camp when relatively according to plan.
Training camp was going to be exciting for the Honolulu press being that the team offense was going to look vastly different from years prior. Therefore, training camp would be used to break this new offense in and see what new schemes or plays could be used that did not fit the weapons that have since departed. The defense would be relatively the same with only shake-ups on the defensive line. This training camp would be the start of a new and exciting era.
