This has been a…. Difficult… first half of the season Down Under. The triple B are currently on a 0-6 run, which has been pretty painful all round. The standout, certainly from an offensive point of view, would have to be the rookie wide receiver, #6, Mr Squidward Tentacles! The young receiver, out of under rated Bikini Bottom U, has been Dexter Zaylren’s number one target, or certainly the most effective, through the first half of this season. Over the 6 losing efforts, Tentacles has caught 37 passes for 526 yards, an impressive yards per catch average of 14.2. This easily eclipses his average from the back end of last season, where he played in 4 games for Norfolk as a DFA, and had a yards per catch average of 11.8, which is still not too shabby! The 14.2 average is good enough for 4th in the DSFL, a position the Buccs can only dream about at the moment! He also has 4 TDS in his 6 games, which is exactly half the number of TDs Dexter Zaylren has thrown so far! It’s also the highest number between the running backs and wide receivers or tight ends. It’s safe to say, that without the pallid, grey skinned octopus, the Bondi Beach Buccaneers would, somehow, be worse off. I don’t know how, it’s not like they can lose any more games?
