Player Name: Siaosi Multiauaopele
Position: Strong Safety
Obviously you don’t have to give names, but are there certain teams you are really hoping you get drafted by? How many are there?
I've had nothing but positive experiences with all of the teams that I've interacted with leading up to the draft. There are a few locker rooms and chats that I've been more chatty in, but I'm gonna bring my A game to any team that is willing to take the plunge and draft me.
Are you hoping to stick with your current position, or are you open to changing positions? If open to change, what are you open to?
In an ideal world, I'll be sticking to strong safety. However, I'm willing to move anywhere on the defense for the good of the team.
What is more important to you: a winning team or a great locker room? Why?
A great locker room is the most important part of the team. Without the foundation that a great locker room will provide, the team will fall apart at the first difficult thing that comes their way. I want to be part of a team that will be resilient and committed; a team that is willing to really gut it out when the going gets tough so the good times will taste even sweeter.
With which pick do you think you will be drafted on Wednesday?
I uh, forgot to answer this when I originally posted my response. Whoops! To answer the question, I'm really hoping to be a first round pick with all the expectations that will bring. My goal is to clean up in awards season and that starts with being the first safety taken off the board.
Do you have a favorite NFL team? College team?
IC: BYU until I die.
OOC: For the NFL, I'm ride or die for the Carolina Panthers. I'll always Keep Pounding! For college, I'm bleeding green and gold as a Charlotte 49ers fan.
Lastly, and most importantly: If you were a “choice of potato”, which would you be (french fries, hash browns, baked potato, etc.)?
This question required careful deliberation and hours of introspection. Ultimately, it was clear there was only one true answer: sweet potato casserole made with cinnamon, brown sugar, lots and lots of butter, and topped with pecans (properly pronounced as pea-cans).
