With the league being as popular than ever and going international, the Chicago Butchers got together to send a representative overseas to host a workshop or young aspiring athletes. A natural leader, CB Tim Soulja. Although he was just called up to the Butchers this season, he has been present during practice even when he was still on the Greg Ducks. His friendly and outgoing nature has earned him the respect of much of the team which got him to host the workshop overseas. Soulja decided to go to England, where there is the biggest fan base for football outside of the U.S. As a former safety and current cornerback, it was only fitting that Soulja hosted a defensive workshop with a focus on the secondary. Soulja knows all the ins and outs of staying with a receiver and reading the back field that helps provide some valuable insight to the young stars in the making. One of Soulja’s famous drills he brought with him over to England was the “Certified Counter” drill. The basics of this drill are to count the number of rep you are on and if you mess up the count, the whole team has to start over. Although it seems simple, when the count is high, the pressure is on.
