We ended up heading to England over the past offseason. For some reason the rookie Rean(me) was decided to be the lead on the visit, probably cause OCO just wants to make work being a rookie, as well as having multi-positional experience since I've been around as a RB, CB, and a safety in my short time in the league not sure if I agree with their reasoning, but whatever, I'm here. Sort of a dual effort event there while we are doing a workshop on football, we are also learning a ton about the sport of rugby during our visit. Overall it was a pretty standard camp where we did a ton of drills to get people involved as well as some more specific position drills which I have experience in and more interested in the sport. There was also some excellent discussions on how game planning and team construction works as well as all the different plans you can do with just a few tweaks to your strategy on any given gameday. The whole experience getting to meet all these fans of the sport was amazing and we also got a whole new respect on the intricacies of rugby as well. I am looking forward to doing other trips to teach about football in the future!
