Rich Triplet while mainly focusing on pursuing a career in the ISFL never gave up on his studies at Minnesota State. Rich was in limbo upon arriving to the school but was told by his parents to ensure that he was spending his time studying on the off chance ISFL did not work out, weather it due to injury or just not playing to the level the league demands. Rich only took his generals his first two years and took a course on drug education thinking it would be an easy A and that he could breeze through school with the help of the class. Little did he know it would change his life, the topic of addiction hit a soft spot for Rich, and he continued to take classes in the alcohol and drug studies major since he enjoyed the topic of addiction. A year in and Rich had decided that if he were to not make it in the ISFL he would dedicate his life to counseling, helping those who had succumbed to the disease of addiction. If Rich hadn’t made it he planned on going into the field of opiate dependent programs and helping there especially due to the rise of the opiate epidemic in the US along with being an aspiring professional athlete he had seen some succumb to the disease in his personal life. Rich has talked about continuing school and getting his license after his playing days are done.
