The Outlaws don't really HAVE a rival right now. Over the last few seasons, no team in their league has consistently challenged them. The Sailfish have, but they don't always play each other, we often win when we do, and they're not the team that we keep falling to. No, instead the Outlaws have a situation. Having stormed through the regular season, they have made it to the playoffs. They are heavily favored, and by all rights should go to the Ultimus if not win it.
They lose. Over and over and over again. I can't even really choose a team as it keeps being different teams. That being said, at this point the locker room might march on the ISFL HO and force them to resim the game after the...5th? 6th? 80%+ win rate playoff game in a row goes against them. I might legitimately retire or go inactive if it happens again, especially this season. It'd feel incredibly insulting, especially after this season where we have won away games at the Sailfish and the Salamanders. Of course, we immediately followed that up with a blowout loss to the 1 win Sabercats at home, because the Outlaws are freaking cursed. I wouldn't be the most shocked if our GM duo got broken up one way or another if it happened again, and they've generally been a steady rock in the locker room as it's happened the previous number of times.
