The Dallas Birddogs biggest rivals are apparently the London Royals... something about them joining the league together, but anyways if the Birddogs lost against them (which they didn't in their most recent win against them *wink*), the team would be absolutely distraught. Especially if the game was an important game, the team hates to lose. You would see the veterans and captains (oh wait that's me) trying to keep the spirits high while some of the players are down after what should have been an easy win. Saying things like "we'll have them next time" and "hey just blow some steam off in the gym," the team with the help of the coaching staff tries to regroup for the next big game because every game counts. After the post-game cooldown and training, most players have their mind set on the next game already, while the straggling few still need the night to recover. Whether it be food, drinks, gaming, or a combination of those, the team bands together once again to focus up after a tough loss.
Beniri T'Chawama as the captain of the team in his rookie season is still learning the ropes from the veterans but he is much better at coping with losses compared to others. It might have been the teams that he has been on in the past, but losses don't really phase the rookie captain as he helps to keep the team spirits high. With a positive attitude and a few jokes shared between the team, he knows what it takes to be a leader and although he isn't the best, he will get there. An important thing for that is definitely knowing how to bounce back after a tough loss such as one against the London Royals.
