In this fantastical hypothetical scenario where the Minnesota Grey Ducks lose an OT game to [wait who again can match up to the Grey Ducks] one of the DSFL teams, I’m sure the loss would bring up lots of question marks and adverse reactions from both sides of the ball. The war room between the front office people in Minnesota would probably start to double-take as they see their strats hit the 5% part of the pie chart of winning or losing the weekly match ups.
Rivals: I think any team that can put up a good fight and keep the game between them and the Grey Ducks competitive would be considered a rival. You could say that the DSFL North has rivals among all four teams as lately they’ve been the stronger division in the DSFL. Usually the third place team in the North would have made the playoffs in the South division.
Twist my arm though, and I would have to say Norfolk Seawolves. Something about Negs running the helm and being able to put the team in its place just feels so good after the games. And recently, the tables turned at the latest match up. Norfolk gave the Grey Ducks their only loss of the season. The locker room was surprised in a humorous way by way of beat down.
