This one isn’t easy for the Arizona Outlaws. Losing isn’t something they’ve done often this season standing at a cool 12-1 record entering the final stretch of the season, but losses will and do occur to everyone. AZ’s biggest rival in the past has been OCO, two teams with a bunch of titles, though some have asterisks next to them. As of late it has to be the New York Silverbacks, the expansion team has come out swinging and has beaten us in the playoffs anytime we’ve faced them and in the regular season we tend to split 60/40 in favor of AZ. By no means are they pushovers. If we were to play them again it would be in the playoffs and I can tell you, the LR would be grim. AZ has been one of if not the best regular season team since the combo of Z-whiz and Crunk tagged up and sit at a cool 70+% winning percentage. However, we’ve yet to win a playoff game and the mood is always killer. But there is one player that always brings us back up and back to focusing on next season and that is none other than Tayshawn Crunk. The GM and player are both always looking forward knowing we put ourselves in the best position to win. The man puts his heart and soul into the team and I always loved that about him, it’s why I signed in AZ. We always look forward after a playoff heartbreaker, at this point we’re used to it!
