Philadelphia, the first place of my career in the ISFl, had a rough season this last season and to say the sim’s gonna sim isn’t all that fair. We had a lot of close games throughout the season and we really showed a lot of resilience in our locker room. It’s a tough place to be in, at the end of a rebuild, but we’re like leprechauns and we’re gonna find that god damned pot of gold. You might have noticed I said the end in the sentence prior and thats because it is the end of our rebuild. The S31 season is our season to finally show what we’ve been building to the league and our team is ready, believe me. In reality this all starts from the top, Pat and Cody have put this franchise into rebirth, like a phoenix from the ashes, and although we have some ash to shake off our feathers yet, the moment we do people will take note and look in awe. Our locker room is built around love, compassion, fun, and teamwork. Not once this season have I seen our leaders step back or say something negative to us. The inner sanctum of this cathedral runs deep but at the top there’s the bell of Liberty for all to see. With that in mind, my vow of excellence promised, and my spirit on my sleeve I give you my Liberty analysis for this year to come.
Offense
Winning starts primarily with the offense and when teams can’t score they lose. Our offense totaled up a good amount of yardage this last season, but for some reason we couldn’t punch the ball into the endzone game in and game out. This -will- change this year as Lonnie Jackson comes into a full time starting gig at runningback and we position three 1000 TPE wide receivers in Asui, Chambers, and Fencik out wide for Ryan Negs. A lot can be said about Ryan Negs the last few seasons but I believe this year will be his coming out party. Behind a rebuilt offensive line and shiny new toys, I believe Negs will come out with a heck of a showing this season.

Defense
Our defense was a highlight through most of the season with the exception of a few games in which we let up a ton of passing yards. This season will not be the same. Look for our young players to come into their own and start highlighting right beside our veteran leaders like Jimi DeSoto, Doy Fieri, Gary Goodman, Matt Cross, and Honkytonk Haywood. Key young players to watch are CJ Sonjack, Xavier Walls, Lucid Dreams, Remus and Romulus Roman. This defense will be strong for years to come and any teams that think we’ll be push overs because of this season better look back and see how many games we lost by 7 points or less. With that being said, this is what our defensive lineup looks like going into the season.

My predictions for this next season might seem bias, but based on the rise in tpe our team has seen and against the regression of other teams I think we come out on top of those one score games we lost this last season. We will be a top five rushing team this next season. We will be a top five passing offense. Our defense will rank in the top five. Looking into this next season our tpe will be set at about 820/ player for an average which is on the rise while other teams are dropping from 870 levels down to 850 levels. The gap has closed enough that unless RNG totally screws us over the Philadelphia Liberties will be a team that teams will not like facing week in and week out. There won’t be the comments about Philly being a crappy team or not understanding out to sim or any of that shit. We’re coming for you no matter what team you’re on or how much better you think you are than us. This is a different monster, we’re a whole new Philly and get ready to ride the wave.
