As a player right out of my rookie year, I don't have too much history to review. However, in just a season, I do feel there are various highlights to reflect on. First, I feel my season started strong when I was drafted in the first round by the Minnesota Ducks. Going in the first round in the DSFL draft was a goal of mine and the Ducks were a far better landing spot than I could have imagined. Once a Duck, I found myself incredibly overjoyed to have helped the team earn their second championship in as many years. I was also excited to have been in the conversation for various DSFL awards. Although I didn't win any awards, my goal was always to be in the conversation and it meant a lot to be nominated.
From there, it was an overwhelming joy to go first overall in the ISFL draft. Again, I'd hoped to go in the first round, but going first overall was unbelievable. Even better than going first overall, though, was seeing my twin brother Orpheus go second overall. Celebrating going 1 and 2 overall in person was a festive event. While all of that alone would have been enough to satisfy me before starting S31, I recently learned that I was made a captain of the Ducks. I'd call this first season as perfect as I could have hoped for and cannot wait for what's next.
