There have been a fair few memorable moments over Burficts career so far and in another Sim he may be sittinf here with a few rings. But enough of that. I'd be tempted to say the very first season in the DSFL with the London Royals, where the Royala claimed Ultimini glory. But instead I'm going to opt for the following season.
London Royals lost several key players to ISFL callups which left Burfict as one of the second year pros to hold things together. And sure, the season ultimately ended in failure with the Royals unable to defend their title. But for Burfict, he relished being that main man having learnt so much from Domine and his performances throughout the season led to him being named both linebacker of the year and defensive player of the year. His stats that year were awesome. 139 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, an interception and 9 pass deflections. Burfict had arrived. He would leave London after that Ultimini loss on a a high, get on the plane to Arizona and not look back. To this day he has not managed to repeat the 139 tackles, proud of that one for sure. And looking at Arizona now, so proud to play alongside a number of that London Royals team from S25, such a great bunch.
