This season marks my 6th in the ISFL and I have to say I’m pretty excited for it. Rich Triplet has had a solid career so far, good but not yet great. I have two favorite moments, the first being the bonkers run that the Tijuana Luchadores had in the S25 season. A mediocre regular season, finishing but 6-8, some LR drama with a receiver who swapped his render to Antonio Brown on the raiders, spirits weren’t exactly at their high point. Despite being loaded with talent offensively we could not get it together, QB Mike Boss Jr. Threw for only 6 TDs in the regular season with 5 INTs to go with it. However I’ll never forget in the sim testing channel when @mithrandir said “We’re going to win the ultimini, I can feel it” We get to the playoffs and @CalvinGolladay had an idea for an offensive strat, it was away from what we normally did but tested pretty dang good. West Coast Best Coast baby, we run it and get an OT stealing TD against the Seawolves, @JBLAZE_THE_BOSS had 2 TDs one to MBC who threw a man off him and got an easy TD grab in OT. Then the ultimini where we put up the most points in ultimini history with 42, MBJ was Joe Flacco that season, mediocre regular season but ELITE post, though not all blame is on him for the tough season, weapons were called up and we moved more towards a run game. It was probably the highlight of my career just winning it with all the guys I came into the league with. People I consider great friends like @209tacos @Pat @deadlunatic! and other people like @GuitarMaster116 (you know ily) I’m now GM of Tijuana and while I’ve hoped to recreate this experience for my rookies, it has yet to happen. Despite this we hope this is the year we can capture trophy number nine and recreate that experience I had almost a year ago.
