While I feel like this is a trap, I'm not sure if I'd tell my GM or not. Assuming there wasn't a possibility of getting caught or getting in trouble, I'd probably use it to keep up with my weekly training and get better equipment. However, if the extra 4 million hurt my team or damaged the cap space needed to pay other players, I'd probably give it back. While it would be tempting to keep the money and give myself every competitive advantage possible, I think what makes this game fun is the camaraderie of the team discord servers. Plus, I think I'd like to work as a GM one day. The concept of drafting players and analyzing skillsets has always been thrilling to me. I wouldn't want to risk my ability to do that over 4 million extra dollars, which in the grand scheme of things, doesn't go incredibly far.
I guess at the end of the day, it comes down to consequence and what could happen as a result of my pick. If I was at risk of getting in serious trouble or getting banned from the forum, I'd likely give the money back. Otherwise, I'd probably stash the money and use it to boost some skills and equipment.
